Le Clos Vallis: A Relaxing Retreat for Business Travelers
The only minor downside I encountered was that Le Clos Vallis is a bit too far from Sarlat to walk unless you are an avid hiker.

The four spacious bedrooms have comfortable queen-size beds or twinned-beds, perfect for a good night's sleep. The en-suite facilities in the bedrooms were clean and convenient, making it easy to freshen up. I loved the separate private toilets in the shower room of the double room, providing added privacy. The shared terrace on the ground floor was a lovely spot for relaxation and enjoying the view of the farmhouse courtyard.
Personally, I would have preferred a private terrace instead of a shared one.

Our stay at this charming B&B was worth every penny. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a lovely French touch. The location was perfect – away from the touristy area, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The staff provided exceptional hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Kudos to Patrick for his warm welcome and helpful recommendations. The pool was a refreshing bonus, especially in the scorching weather. We can't wait to return!
Breakfast delights, but could use more variety.

Beautiful green surroundings, spacious rooms with great facilities, and friendly service. The breakfast was fantastic, with homemade jams and fresh bread. There were plenty of things to do nearby, such as horseback riding and exploring castles.
Difficult to find the hotel without GPS coordinates and no one was there to receive us upon arrival. It would have been helpful to have a chair in the room for our luggage. The breakfast was ordinary and not worth the extra cost.

The breakfast was great with amazing fresh fruits. The hotel was located close to many places of interest like old villages and natural sights. The rooms were comfortable with good facilities.
The hotel failed to meet one of our expectations during our Christmas stay. The heating was not efficient making the rooms cold and uncomfortable.

This beautiful countryside hotel offers a peaceful retreat from the busy surroundings. The rural setting is ideal for those looking for a relaxing stay, with two swimming pools and a variety of treatments available. The spacious bedrooms are equipped to a high standard and feature modern bathrooms. The host provides first-class service and prepares a delicious breakfast consisting of freshly baked bread, fruits, and yogurt. The hotel's decor is beautiful and the attention to detail is evident from the fluffy towels to the beautiful surroundings.
The hotel's location may pose a challenge for those without a vehicle or who prefer to be closer to the city center.

We stayed at Le Clos Vallis for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The B&B allowed us to pay at check-out, which was a huge relief. The room was cozy, the bathroom was great, and the whole place had a charming ambiance. Patrick, our host, gave us excellent recommendations, like the delightful "Restaurant Le Bistrot" in the village. We enjoyed dining outside and savoring cheese and wine. The breakfast, though ordinary, was worth the extra cost. The Gite was amazing, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the use of the breakfast room for our own meals. a fantastic experience!
We can recommend this hotel.
